Back in 1972, our founder owned a small retail business in Newton, Iowa and faced many of the same issues businesses are facing today… limited budget, competition, and creating identity in the marketplace. Where and how to get new customers through his door was his biggest concern, for he knew one thing for sure – if he could get them through his door, his product and service were good enough, that they would keep coming back! With this conviction in the forefront of his mind, he decided to target and welcome new movers in the community. He found that an attractive offer, a great product, and service accompanied with the genuine impression that he valued their business, got the new movers through his doors AND kept them coming back!

This was and still remains the very heart of Our Town.
